Yes exactly if you are running a commercial Fallow hunt you need enough of a herd to keep plenty of those expensive trophy stags. Those numbers don’t sit with the low densities needed to encourage woodland regen

Yep it was the chunky bill on the flight shot that set alarm bells ringing. It’s really thick at the base let alone at gonys. Mantle feathering has that cresote wash across feathers and strongly marked. Either a dinky pale Herring or Herring x white-winger would be my guess on those pics 👍

There’s a lot of Herring Gull genes in that bird for me, any other pics?

Relying on the private sector to evolve a fit for purpose high speed charging network was never going to work!. ScotGov here put in 50kw charging network but needs them to do the same now with high speed, big gaps…

Thanks Allan!, I’ll give it a go tomorrow. The window we’ve been looking out of looks towards river but also one of the other wings so was more worried by being spotted by patients in those rooms! 😂
