Note that the implications of our work are not only relevant to lacustrine brGDGT temperature calibrations but also to other proxies and calibration applications in Quaternary science.
Demonstrate and evaluate calibration models constructed using different statistical approaches and applied downcore to contrasting sites.

Construct and assess new global lake brGDGT temperature calibrations using different analytical methods, demonstrating the use of each for temperature reconstructions.
Construct the first global lake temperature calibration including 5- and 6-methyl brGDGTs from Antarctica.
