Re. That trump statement about the British coming in only at the end of wars. Apart from being ironic on a potentially record breaking number of levels, this is what alliances mean to the Americans: little if anything. Australians need to understand this.

Australian’s need to realise that we are actually “winning” in building mass prosperity.

It’s not to say everything is perfect.

It’s saying that we are on the right track with an economic plan that puts people first.
