You're receiving this notice because you have one or more Amazon Lists that are shared with others and have a delivery address set up. We're writing to inform you about an upcoming change to Amazon Lists. Starting March 25, 2026, we will remove the option to restrict purchases from third-party sellers for list items. When this change takes effect, gift purchasers will be able to purchase items sold by third-party sellers from your lists and your delivery address will be shared with the seller for fulfillment. This change will provide gift purchasers with access to a wider selection of items when shopping from your lists. Important note: When gifts are purchased from your shared or public lists, Amazon needs to provide your shipping address to sellers and delivery partners to fulfill these orders. During the delivery process, your address may become visible to gift purchasers through delivery updates and tracking information. To help protect your privacy, we recommend using a PO Box or non-residential address for any list you share with public audiences. Below are your recently used shared and public lists. For each list, you can go to "Manage List" to review sharing settings or update delivery addresses.
Heads up SW!

This is an entirely unrelated anecdote, but I learned antibiotics cancel out birth control really early bc they brought teen moms into my health class in hs to scare us and one of them was due to that π°
Sorry about your microbiome
There are ALREADY ways to make games without coding! Most engines have stores where people are selling or willingly giving away cool tools to make things. Engines like Scratch even teach you as you go with lego like pieces of code.
There's a huge lack of context to ai chatbots, and video games are an incredibly fragile tangle of interwoven features. Trying to get it to do exactly what you're picturing takes immense back and fourth. There are so many better ways!
If you're an aspiring dev. I understand the allure of getting where you want faster or easier! Consider the ethical implications, but also understand that studies show ai coding frequently takes longer and is more frustrating than other methods, even when users perceive it as faster
Also, original statement is misleading, later they clarify it can "assist" or "empower" which is not creating an entire game with a prompt
This pill says it can make you 8 inches taller!
I know I'm asking a lot, but I wish these article headlines were more clear about "But they have not shown any evidence at all that what they claim would be remotely possible"
I did! close up itβs not the most realistic, but I think it gives it a cute cartoony look :)
I cringed soooo hard at that
Tiny dresser and tiny table
Made tiny furniture out of clay during the super bowl
the bushes were people π
It is very very funny to me for a Super Bowl ad to have βwe will have AGI soonβ in an ad without mentioning what that is at all. Who is this ad for, what market are you targeting here? more money than marketing sense obviously. Also a blatant lie anyway but whatever
I figured it out, the Super Bowl commercials this year remind me of the expo hall at GDC. Same vibe of 10 different wildly over funded companies chasing one tech fad. Weβre just missing a blockchain and NFT ad
If I was famous id be in the Pokemon superbowl halftime commercial that isnβt specifically advertising anything just the concept of pokemon
I also appreciate the beer commercial showing live video of the horse and eagle from the commercial after to show it wasnβt ai (no idea if the rest was, but they did have a real horse riding eagle)
Thereβs a really weird amount of ai de-aging ads in the Super Bowl, itβs legit like 40% of them?
Also even if you start early like me, you will become 30 somehow anyway! Progress (for whatever that is measures by) is not going to be a straight line, and when you get in won't really impact how long one lasts or how successful they'll be
36% is a hilariously low number considering how many companies are forcing use, and how many (basically all) mainstream dev tools and programs are inserting passive gen ai into their products anywhere possible. Good job team lets get those numbers lower next time tho βοΈ
Also my entire household has had an upper respiratory infection for the entire month of January, as well as worms and pink eye. Unrelated
This optimistic post brought to you by the 100 political anxiety/depression posts that I opted not to vent out into the world before this one
So it's eerie that every major political event is happening in places I live or have lived, but the nice part is seeing all the random center right people I went to school with swing wildly left over time and all be out protecting their communities, and that's really wonderful
Game dev is weird, because whatever we make wont be out for quite a while. So discerning the tone that the community needs beforehand is dicey. But I think coziness and optimism that recognizes and validates common community feelings is hopefully timeless
Game dev wise, I've flip flopped between "people need rest and energy right now from a safe and comfy game between news" and "I need to make disco elysium but with cats", I'm falling somewhere in the middle where I'm trying to make something safe to relax, but with honest moments that give catharsis
Anyway this post brought to you by the 10th app this week pushing a new genai feature on me. my email having a big pop up suggesting I use it for correspondence. If you ever send me an ai written email I will remotely set fire to your computer
I think pro ai users find it useful and therefor can't believe it's a bubble, but the concept of a bubble isn't that there's no monetary value, but that the investment in it FAR outweighs the possible profit. That's where we're at
I very genuinely don't know how anyone keeping up on GenAI stuff could still deny the bubble (unless they are lying in order to protect investment) ((that's the answer))
But seriously
This was my kid's fav movie for like a year and I never got over how odd all of the choices involved were
I want to interact with people on here that I don't have in other spaces, but my issue is that I don't want to add to stressful political venting, I'm not the best source for constructive information, and discussing anything else feels weird too. Anyway popping in to say hi!
