I was in a mixed critique group for three years - mostly YA and MG. Although the members were very nice, critiquing their stories was hard. I realized I needed to learn more about writing picture books and started another critique group just for picture books, which has worked out wonderfully!

My online group met through Justin Colon's PBChat and we have a private FB group. Whenever we need eyes on something we just post a link to a Word/Google drive doc. I also belong to 12x12 and can post in the forum if I need critiques.

Love my CP's! Met my local group through NESCBWI and Andrea Brown's BIG SUR Writing Workshops Cape Cod. Before the pandemic, we met in person at Panera's once a month. Now we meet on Zoom and put our stuff in Drive but occasionally meet up for lunch or go for walks together.
