ICE has been holding a disabled double amputee named Rodney Taylor in a camp for a year.
Heβs been in the US since he was two years old.
Itβs all he knows.
When they detained him, they denied him access to new prosthetic legs.
His health is declining.
Please speak up for Rodney. A year in an ICE camp is beyond comprehension.
Public pressure works.
If enough people speak up, a life may be saved.
Many of the deaths in ICE custody have been due to medical neglectβ¦ letβs make sure Rodney isnβt one of them.
Rodney Taylor.

This is something he / they do a lot, manipulating the Overton window. Trump says something outrageously extreme and impractical. Then they (as NYT obliges here) get to "walk back" and sound like they're compromising in merely doing the outrageously evil instead of the impossible delusion version.
Im locked in: doing a one month intensive learning Afro Brazilian dance as lead (zouk); teaching myself Brazilian Portuguese bc, well it seems fitting and timely and respectful; writing and yoga practices daily. Keeping my head up.
How are you in this moment?!?
In todayβs episode, after a brief introduction on children as a target of state violence by ICE, we speak with @mayaschenwar.bsky.social & Kim Wilson about care work and parenting as part of abolitionist practice and how we show up for each other in dark times

Instead of going "qanon was right, but about the wrong people" or "the conspiracies were correct except for who was doing it" or such, actually look up the definition of DARVO.
Those letters, they actually mean something.
Think: DARVO with the budget of a nation state
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DARVO
They're literally running out of lawyers in a state where the district judges are practically at war with the administration.
I am hosting this FREE workshop to help us navigate this current moment with our little ones. Please invite your comrades, community, and kin. We are not helpless and we are in an intergenerational struggle.

Soo lovely.
death by preventable disease is an inevitable and even desired outcome of concentration camps. in every era of concentration camps people have died of typhus, which is a disease of privation and enforced crowding. this illness is intentionally inflicted
In October, ICE grabbed Maher Tarabishi.
He was a 24/7 caregiver for his disabled son Wael.
At the time of Maherβs detention, disability advocates warned that taking away Waelβs caregiver put his life at risk.
Wael died on Friday at age 30.
ICE caused his death.
They didnβt get to say goodbye.
Quality performance art. Easy to parse, thematically relevant, kinda gross. Love it.
The fact that Vanity Fair hired Nuzzi after she *admitted in her book* to helping RFK get a role in the Trump administration is one of the most damning indictments of elite media I've ever seen.
Not only is VF sweeping it under the rug but no one else in elite media seems perturbed by it either!
Today, Donald Trump--the president of the United States and a man with a history of election subversion--said: "We shouldnβt even have an election" in 2026.
While legacy media has largely ignored this story, Democracy Docket has covered it from multiple angles. Support its work. hubs.ly/Q03M8rql0
Oh you finally figured out that Michael Cohen is bad? What gave it away -- the lifelong mafia ties, the pedophile coverup, or the ceaseless grifting?
Everyone who boosted him should be ashamed. You went on his show for fame. You could have said no. I said no multiple times. But you have no ethics.
Any amount helps, and even re-sharing this post could make a difference. Weβre incredibly grateful for any support during this stressful moment. Thank you for taking the time to read and for any help youβre able to give.

Hey yβall. So. We are in an urgent and difficult situation. We have a storage locker for our belongings, but we can no longer keep up with the payments and have fallen behind. If weβre unable to cover the full $750 balance, everything in it will be lost in 2 days.

We have ~15 separate radio dispatches, one for each neighborhood, and dozens more for the suburbs/Saint Paul. Each dispatch/monitoring channel contains somewhere between 500 and 2000 people. At any given time there are probably a dozen mobile patrols and 100 on-foot observers in each neighborhood.
A friend of a friend, Aven, needs help, so Jonathon Rivera is raising funds for when he is released from the hospital, to pay for rent, moving costs, etc., to support Aven's recovery:

People are being kidnapped, blinded and murdered. Children are being teargassed outside their schools, and senior Dems are still tone policing the response.
YEARS
These photos are terrifying (as opposed to stunning). Black women have been killed in these kind of scenarios long before Trump.
This is the second CEO to come crawling to the public hat-in-hand to beg us to stop rejecting their product.
Itβs almost like the inevitability of mass adoption was both wildly overstated, and just a bullying tactic to strong-arm consumers.
I'm begging people to stop posting screenshots of articles without links or any information that would make it possible to find the article. It does everyone a disservice and makes it easier for people to (knowingly or unknowingly) share misinformation
How blessed are we to have never been under the illusion cops protect us because our parents had to shatter that when we were kids, because they knew theyβd have to prepare us for American life while Black.
The way America relies on Black activists to protect them from their own decisions should be studied. Not by me though.
The Oglala Sioux Tribe is still trying to locate four members kidnapped by ICE agents in Minneapolis last week, and many Native people in the Twin Cities have felt scared to leave the house to go to work or get groceries.
