‼️ New study alert ‼️ We are really proud to share that our latest research is finally out 📣

In this work, we explore the spatial and functional regulation of dendritic cells (DCs) within the tumor microenvironment and how these mechanisms impact #cancerprogression and response to #immunotherapy 🧵

OGA - Only Good Antibodies Community

⚠️ Half of commercial antibodies miss their target!
So how do you pick the right one for your experiment?

Here’s the solution 👉

For our #flowcytometry peeps, would you like to have a single fix/perm protocol that is optimised for everything? One that preserves fluorophores while allowing simultaneous TF and cytokine staining? How about 100-fold cheaper?

Epigenomic preconditioning of peripheral monocytes determines their transcriptional response to the tumor microenvironment - Genome Medicine Background Monocytes are recruited to tumors and undergo transcriptional reprogramming resulting in tumor-promoting functions. Epigenomic features, such as post-translational modification of histones ...

Our new paper is out:
Tumors don’t just reprogram monocytes locally. We show in a mouse model that the systemic impact of a tumor can alter the epigenome of peripheral monocytes, repressing IFN-responsive regulatory elements and priming pro-tumor gene programs.

Happy to share that I’ll be starting my lab as a junior group leader at the Georg-Speyer-Haus in Frankfurt in 2026. We’ll study how transcriptional regulators control neutrophil function in cancer. I’ll be hiring soon (PhD/lab tech), please reach out if you know someone interested!
