It’s frustrating we’re at the point where our default assumption is that any platform we’re engaging with is collecting data on us against our will.
Zoom is free but I think they limit you to like 40 minute calls with the free version or something like that.

Further clarification:
I do recognize that some of the platforms I remain on are problematic and are literally run by lizard people. I’m working on disentangling myself from them to be better internet citizen and to reclaim my attention span that the apps have completely nuked.
It’s very funny to me that this post got the attention it did compared to my usual thoughts about video games. This was less a post about moral superiority of getting off a few platforms and more me just informing people who interact with me where they can still find me.
I’m watching Discord closely I too am not happy with that new ID policy. Hopefully enough people pressure them that they won’t go through with it.
Facebook is off of my personal cellphone, I unfortunately have to maintain accounts for my job, but I’ve contained those to desktop only.
I finally got both TikTok and Twitter off my phone with accounts deleted. YouTube, BlueSky, Instagram and Discord are the only platforms that I’m still active on.
