I was in Boston a month after the Brexit vote and EVERYONE asked how I voted. It was a VERY EASY QUESTION TO ANSWER.

I was under a period of 12 months or so of intense emotional stress. Over the last 3 months things have eased and you know when you have surgery and the nerves reconnecting as you heal are like tiny zaps of electricity? It’s that, but with feelings.

Imagine expecting no political conversation in…. Ireland.

This appalling fat cat wants to shut the door on all my mature students, many of whom left school after GCSE and give up a lot to go to university. I can tell him that they’re the hungriest for education and far from being unable to graduate, they regularly get the highest grades. Hateful man.

On Monday afternoon we planted around 8 tubs with bulbs. This morning the squirrels have had a bulb buffet. Every. Single. One.

These families are trying their best but suicide is the only public health crisis where the solution offered is signposting to a charity.
