gresh was an absolute beast in the comics. they did my boy dirty in the movies. they leaned way too far into the whole rookie thing with him. in the comics he kinda felt like he was already past that. he felt more serious. comic gresh is peak!!

this drawing was inspired by the cover for glatorian issue 3 and this panel in all our sins remembered. i feel like the back-lighting makes the characters look more menacing which i think is interesting to do for a character like gresh.
