But for real though, RE9 10/10 for me. The switch between Graces and Leon’s sections are done SO well! Part of me wishes RE2remake was done like that, but I get why they kept it like the OG.

Anyway, amazing game! The range of emotions I felt was great!

I’ve seen a lot of people play their first run in first person for Grace, since her sections and combat is built for it, and third for Leon, then swap it on another run. But Leon is to gorgeous to play in first person, I NEED to bask in his glorious 50yo face and shoulders

Whenever I get round to replaying, I don’t think I’ll ever play in first person for Leon. I HAVE to bask in his beauty all the time

Ngl RE9 arrived at just the perfect moment because I’ve been in major art block and taking time away from my computer is very much needed right now.

ANYWAY so RE9 has been making me anxiety ridden….i haven’t felt this tense playing a game in SO long!

No spoilers please because I’m still very much at the early section of the game, as far as I know. I haven’t watched any playthroughs so it’s the first time playing a RE game completely blind

Sorry for that sudden rant, opening YouTube and seeing like 4-5 videos of people “reacting” to Mark just kinda got under my skin because how easily sensitive people have become over the last few years

If anything I respect Mark more for really saying how he felt and not just sugar coat it like I see others do. That’s what I enjoy about Mark (and Jackscepticeye) because he shares his real frustrations and gripes when games don’t land for him

But ofcourse is the 2020s era of the internet and people have to be angry and offended at everything when someone doesn’t like the thing they do, like yall need to go out and smell fresh air

Like me? I kinda got bored of the Poppy Playtime formula after chapter 2 and just stopped watching people’s playthroughs. So I genuinely don’t care if Mark liked it or not, he played it and he can say how he felt

Then suddenly there’s an influx (on my page anyway) of people “reacting to” or “reviewing” Marks comments like are yall really THAT strapped for making content you’re doing react videos to someone’s own personal feelings about game?

Yes I’m talking about Markipliers comments on Poppy Playtime. But like…it’s not like he made a completely separate video sharing his thoughts he shared it at the end of the game like normal people do.

You know what I’m tired of seeing? Someone having an opinion on a game (whether they like or dislike it) and suddenly other people “review” the video for content…like is that literally how desperate people are for content now?
