Yes, I had that problem with wanting to describe someone as “high maintenance” in the 80s. It wasn’t used then. So hard to think of a synonym.

Our Gertrude Jekyll keeps producing new flowers in nearly-December and they smell gorgeous. Best rose we’ve ever had.
