So Black History month is upon us and this is the time where folks in the book community pretend to give a shit about Black folks while at the same time still supporting anti-Black authors.

I read a highly anticipated book a month ago that was well reviewed (it’s still pre-release) and I was disappointed in the fat rep. It wasn’t even close to the worst I’ve seen but it jarred me right in the first chapter. And I seem to be the only one?
Anyway now I’m in a review slump 🫠
