I finally chose my favorite book from April. It took me awhile, though. Anyone else doing a book bracket?

We had a rough night. I took the early morning shift with one of our baby chicks who finally started eating around 3:30 am. My husband is now on shift (he went to bed at 2 am) and the little is now drinking & eating on her own! She's got energy and looks so much better.

8 books this month with 2 of them 5 stars!

Another 5 star read. This was fantastical and witty. My first Sanderson book. Such a quick & fun read. I highly recommend.

Friends, many of us are finding it hard to feel hopeful. And that’s ok. When you can’t feel hope, do hope. Hope is getting out of bed. Hope is telling jokes, writing that paper, smiling at a stranger, permission to rest. Hope is a practice. What does hope in action look like for you?

Helped decorate for school functions and I'm happy it's the weekend.

I really love my library!! I have had this book on hold for a few months and the wait is still"several months" long. I'd never heard of a skip the line loan. I'm super happy and probably won't need a week for this one. 😁
