Short Description: This panel discussion brings together experts in the field as we discuss current trends and future plans for SEL โ€“ the other AI (affective instruction)! How might we prepare our gifted learners for a bright, successful future when expectations are changing so quickly? Join us as we discuss all this and more.

Learning Objectives:
Participants learn strategies to foster social-emotional skills in gifted learners.
Participants develop a deeper understanding of the connections between affective and academic instruction.
Participants engage with colleagues to identify opportunities for positive advocacy for SEL in the gifted classroom in order to better prepare students for ever-changing futures.
