Pondering the idea of California as the cherished 11th province… maybe Vermont can come too
If you haven't played Known Mysteries yet, check it out! It is a climate sci-fi narrative game run from a solar-powered server

I have been reading more of Imre Szeman’s work on solarities and its clear when you operate a solar powered Minecraft server you do a lot of praying for sunshine. minecraftbloc.milieux.ca/sunblock/
Irony. When your Black Friday solar system upgrade arrives as the first major snowfall covers your panel.
Looks like playtests with SunBlock One have come to a halt.
Odroid H4 or H4 ultra. It’s interesting how the main use case for these servers is an NAS but since we don’t need any SATA ports. Maybe we will open a new market :)
I think I am becoming a permacomputing guy :)
So it looks like we will try to build SunBlock 2 with an Odroid H4 sporting an N97 CPU. Power consumption is wonderfully low but will it be able to handled our modded server?
Black Friday and cybermonday deals have me dreaming of building SunBlock Two even though we barely have enough sun to keep SB One alive
Working on or want to dip into the #nostalgia research crowd? And to experience #Montreal in February? 🥶😁

We strongly suggest that academic publishers and other platforms that host research rapidly implement a Share to Bluesky button for their articles. Here's how:

Solar panel under the sun in Montreal
Sunny day in Montreal but it’s not going to be enough to float our Minecraft server I suspect. minecraftbloc.milieux.ca/sunblock
Thanks…. There is more coming. We are making a solar sword now that will one shot mobs when the sun is peak in Montreal and a bunch of other mods
So we wrote a thing about our solar powered modded Minecraft server. Most fun game studies ever - theconversation.com/how-a-solar-... #MinecraftEDU #energytransition
The thing for me here is that effort needs to be relative and subjective. We wanna avoid saying effort is good for you. So sliding scale brokenness would be cool
We need more language for degrees of the brokenness of tools. Too broken is bad so there must be just broken enough
Oh ho. I found a pretty handy GitHub list of Bluesky resources. Good number of 3rd party clients to try here - github.com/fishttp/awes...
