I found this note in my calendar about Mother's day, placed there last year by my past self looking out for my future self. Thanks past self!

Some quilters I know use polyesters with some interfacing to stabilize. Some use them without stabilizing them. I mostly use 100% cotton from old clothes and bed linens. Duvet covers are my favorite.

curious why more quilters don’t use upcycled fabrics? There is enough textile on the planet to clothe the next 6 generations. The value village linen section is my go to for all my quilt fabrics. I also use old clothes. Bonus: It has made quilting more fun and way cheaper. #quiltsky
