This comes from a scene in the game where all action stops and the town bell starts ringing. Tragedians point you to the town hall to meet with the town's leaders because a deadly plague has begun, which will kill main characters one by one.
A lizard lies where the concrete floor meets the white wall. He is grey with black spots down his back. At a safe distance from him are 6 tealight candles in a row (to help him warm up during a cold morning). The rim of a red dish is visible at the lower edge of the frame.
I lit some candles for this lizard. we all deserve to be celebrated every once in a while

A grotesque and gigantic man with a jaw inspired by a goblin shark sits on a wooden floor. His eyes are white and blank. His nose is like the spot where a nose would be on an animal skull. He is dressed like a traditional, old-fashioned older man in a polo and khaki shorts. He has long synthetic socks and laced black leather shoes. He is fishing into a hole in the floor, and sitting on a wooden chair. His fishing pole has a child's doll on its hook. Beside him is a bucket full of worms. He has shelves above him with a fish skeleton and books written in an inscrutable alphabet. Behind the bucket of worms is a pile of dead fish, and next to that pile is a pile of children's toys invluding a bear, a softball and a wooden duck with wheels. There is also a table with another chair behind him, with an open tackle box displaying a variety of hooks and lures. On the chair in the shadows is a very small child crouched, hiding, and wearing an astronaut helmet and a tattered blanket as a cloak.

The child has a partially shaved head and long hair beside it. The figure wears a tattered blanket as a cloak and plaid pajama pants. They are barefoot and carry a gleaming shard of a mirror as a dagger.
A very small child in pajamas and a tattered blanket cloak is in the middle of an action scene, wherein the launched goblin-shark-style jaw of a gargantuan humanoid monster's head has caught the blanket cloak of the child in its many sharp teeth. The child uses a shard of a mirror to cut through the blanket cloak. The child wears an astronaut helmet which has cracked and broken its glass visor. The child is clinging to the ledge of a vent with one hand and pushing away the jaw of the monstrous head with their feet. The head of this monster has a nose that appears to be the nose holes of a skull where a nose once was. The head has enormous, human ears and its chin has bent downward after the launching of its jaw. Skin stretches between the monster's head and its jaw and teeth. The monster appear to have no brain, as a hanging light bulb in the middle of the scene shines light through its nose holes and out the back of a ninety degree angle cut out where the back of the monster's head should be. There are dangling, split stiches along the cut out portion of the monster's head. The monster extends a long, very thin, bony arm up the wall towards the child. The back of the monster's neck is crudely sewn together as if it has torn apart in the past. The light bulb hanging from the ceiling casts dramatic shadows across the scene. There is a shelf with toppled books behind the two figures, and a crack in the wall.
A little while back I did some art for a Little Nightmares competition, where I tried to emulate the style of the games with some original characters and concepts this is what I ended up making!

Through James Baldwin and Revolutionary Left Radio, I came to learn quite a bit more about Malcolm X. I find him to be an exceptionally compelling figure, and wanted to try to capture some of that feeling in a drawing!
