February 29, 1996: Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (1997) While Doug Chiang was sketching concepts of Coruscant for Star Wars: Episode I, George Lucas decided to include the planet at the end of the ROJ Special Edition. Doug completed the painting in 6.25 days.
