Second win on the trot for Angus, today. Racing in cat 2/3 (the highest category available today) he rode an intelligent race and had enough in the bunch sprint to cross the line in 1st against some very strong opposition. #Winner

A lovely 50km+ loop, todayβ¦ but, wowsers, what an evil easterly wind π¨ . Heart-rate on alert just to keep moving forwards!
If the βcustomerβ doesnβt cry when they see what a good job the folk at βThe Repair Shopβ have done, theyβre not grateful enough.

A superb first crit-race of the year for Angus and his first race in the category up from where he was last year. Rode an intelligent race to finish a solid top-ten out of around 35 - holding his own against far more experienced competition.
BED January - and a rare opportunity to join Angus on one of his Z0/Z1 rides.
So BED January is done and dusted - pretty happy finish on 830 miles for the month. ππ
What a day in Harrogate. Evert only went and got himself selected to be in the JKS England Squad!! What a superstar!!

Out for a recovery spin with Russ and came across this lovely little Austin Seven. ππ
Cheers, buddy. Took it nice and steady - it was more about having a nice day chatting and getting a few miles in ππ»ππ»ππ»
A lovely day on the bike with Russ. Far more rain than we were expecting to encounter but.. well.. it IS January after allβ¦ and our spirits werenβt dampened.
Oh thatβs very sad. π’
What a great show this was last night - the Simon and Garfunkel story.
The two chaps playing Simon and Garfunkel were superb, as were the backing musicians.
One of the few times Iβve been gutted when the show ended.
Thanks to Lisa for a organising.
Maintaining my βbike every day in Januaryβ streak with a lovely social ride out to Uphill with PCC. Over 400 miles ytd (I normally take no notice of that kind of thing but thought Iβd check)β¦ and all of them enjoyable. ππ
The largest Friday Standard group yetβ¦ Ten of us enjoying the sun on a gorgeous January morning. ππ
Another superb evening at Newport Velodrome last night - expertly coached by @pdqcyclecoaching as always.

*I do.. I do want a medal.
Oh no! So sorry for your loss. Deepest sympathies.
Todayβs #ViewFromMyBike. Another fixie ride with Russ. ππ»ππ»
Just the kind of snow I like.
White for an hour or two - then washed away by rain.
Perfect.

@girlonabrompton.bsky.social nice to see you on here. ππ»
Oh no! Sorry to hear that. Heal quickly.
I think weβre literally a handful of miles further south than where the forecast thinks theyβll get some.
Not in the SW⦠thank goodness!
