I’m working on the antepenultimate chapter of The Phantom: Vietnam. Here’s work on what I’m hoping is the back cover of that eventual comic issue.
Digitally scribbled in procreate.

Art is a constant pouring out, onto the page, of whatever you contain within yourself.
So fill the container; look at art, buy art books, comic books, film, fashion. Go to movies. Go to galleries. Buy art.

Love art and it will love you back.

A great thing about the Phantom is that I feel plenty of stories can bring you up to speed/can be enjoyed for what they are…different publishers especially. but, if you want to suss out where to kick things off, try this: www.chroniclechamber.com/top-stories-...
Phantom wiki is somewhat helpful too.

The tradition to publish special magazines for the christmas season began in the early 20th century and when comics hit the scene the idea of making annual christmas releases of comics seemed natural. Thus was born the christmas album, starting in 1930 and continuing to this day.
