Being told that there is no care provider within south yorkshire who wants your package of care hurts and cuts deep into the heart. The emotions it summons up are that of the sea monster rising from the depths of the ocean. They are overwhelming and painful. 2026 hasn't started well.

Universal Credit is so complicated. You write in a journal for something's but it isn't the one benefit for everything that was promised. You have to speak to other departments and your council. The journal was supposed to be the one stop shop.

Why do CQC put autism under learning disabilities header when registering care agencies with themselves?

The smoke / pollution causes me breathing difficulties.

17th December 2025 Care agency sent formal notice of termination of support arrangements. Giving three weeks notice. Stating they end on 7th January 2026.

Disabled toilets are gender neutral and you do not hear disabled people asking for separate male disabled toilets or separate female disabled toilets.

I was told you wear a mask IF YOU personally are ill. This keeps the illness pressed into your nose and mouth. You keep your own germs. If you are wearing a mask you are unwell. This then begs the question of why aren't you at home?!

Agree it does not make sense. What is going wrong? Why do people need top ups? Why don't wages meet what is needed to live without welfare? Confusing

How do you get support in a workplace? Or at places you visit as part of your work? As in someone to assist to go to toilet? As in someone to assist to have a meal or a drink? As in someone to move your wheelchair from A to B?

Where do disabled people who would like the opportunity to work hang out?
