My son had been tasked with writing a poem for school, so we had sat down and written together. It is a poem against cynicism and the mess we are in. It is about love (and doughnuts in ice cream).
For Christmas I got a puzzle where I had to move a cube around until it formed a cheeky fat baby.
It was a Cherubicβs Cube.
Organised as a series of secular prayers to things of this earth, these lyrical prose poems insist upon working class experience in a world perpetually haunted by what is erased.

Thing is, the central reservation of British motorways and dual carriageways is super narrow compared to the US. Makes more sense to cover the embankments in wild flowers.
