I made a small, cryptic roguelike for 7DRL: hempuli.itch.io/chessrl

#7drl day 5 : Enemies now lock their attack when the turn starts, so they can shoot or punch each other when you dodge. You can now manually select which card to play, or just autoselect from the grid. I also chose a name for the game and made a title screen !

#7drl day 4 : Added deck and discard, increased card size to improve readability, reworked the attack system so I can add projectile attacks. I will know try to figure out cool bonus for Omamori you see on the bottom left. Still a lot to do before Sunday ! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

#7drl day three : I spent most of the day working on card's mechanics. You can now use any cards but top cards have priority. The goal is to train during 14 days : build a deck strong enough to defeat a boss who probably wants to burn down your father's dojo

#7drl day two for my Karate Deck Building game ! I added new cards and tested guard/multi hit/projection mechanics. Each cards have specific ranges. Soldiers now retaliate 😬

Working on my entry for #7DRL.
It's an abstract Roguelike game based on 1D elementary cellular automata. You manipulate the world, creating new generations under you, to reach the goal.

Taking a 2 day break from #7DRL for other work stuff, but here's where we're up to!

The game loop hinges on a tension between gathering info for deducting personas (deductions extend the run) and leaving the party before it turns sour (sour vibes end the run) 1/x
