The discourse regarding the BAFTAs tonight and Tourette’s is exceptionally sad. Empathy is not a finite resource. We can feel bad for all involved, without the need to attack and slander. Also, respectfully, if you're worried about the state of industry ... buy indie games, at full price, on release. That matters more than the CEO musical chairs game.

i like video games and think there should be a sustainable industry for me and my very cool and talented friends to keep making them :)

To paraphrase a friend: stay on the path, make good things. Indie has always flourished in the face of AAA distraction. Times are bad, but let others deskill, pivot to nonsense or chase impossible outcomes. People really like playing videogames. Suits forget that every 6 months or so.
