Twin Peaks opening title frame with the text “KEEP CIRCULATING THE TAPES” in green letters superimposed over it.
..and MTV’s Dan Cortese.

El Stingray for the win.
I’ve never pissed myself while running a marathon or fucked up my ankles. Shit, I must be doing it wrong…(ps countryside marathons > city marathons; I hate feeling like I’m in traffic)
I would say the biathalon is more Wes Anderson: picture Willem DaFoe as a cigarette smoking French biathlete who runs a small fish market in Laval. He trains with other athletes in color-coordinated spandex suits and takes immaculate care of his rifle. His mustache is well-kept.
Why are players traded to different teams but teams not traded to different cities?
Are baseball players the natural evolution of ball-boys?
Why isn’t Toronto named something more Canadian? Toronto Tuques could have a hat night. A moose with a tuque is a great mascot. Montreal Maple Syrups?
Wholeheartedly agree. My wife made one in August and it was absolutely delicious. We might plant a Gravenstein apple tree in our backyard in a few months.
Liam Neeson narrates a documentary about the luxurious lives of concentration camp guards. The film extolls their “virtues” & builds on conspiracy theories that there were no Jews in the camps. Neeson’s publicist claims it was just a job & his views differ. “The Distance Money Can Buy.”
My account is a joke account, but I run as a hobby in my spare time. That being said, your running distance and times are quite an accomplishment. Keep up the hard work; you are doing great!
“The Wizarding World of No Consequences.” Release the Voldepestein scrolls.
A magical island housing an all-girls wizarding school opens to acclaim. But lo, the girls are not safe as the school headmaster Voldepestein has nefarious plans for them: old & powerful wizards fly there to dip their wands. Directed by Brett Ratner. Produced by JK “I’m protecting girls” Rowling.

For context: the way most other USA citizens/people look at Florida is the way the rest of the world looks at the USA. We need to be more conscious there are good people trapped by geography, finances, & circumstances we don’t know about living in Florida. Help but don’t condemn them.
It’s worth reading the graphic series Transmetropolitan for who Newsom probably is (Trump is The Beast and Newsom is The Smiler). The author is problematic, but the series is insightful. Similarly, reading/watching (movie) The Dead Zone shows what we could be in for with JD Vance as president.
Nickelodeon gives Donald Trump the Kids’ Choice Award for “Favorite Butt-Kicker.” In return the network gets a shiny new orange plane to fly kids directly from their studio to Mar-A-Lago. Though preferring a Nobel Prize, his Pedophileness greets them all the same in “Hold Your Peace.”
A screenshot of a Twitter message (when it was still Twitter) notifying the poster @itsnotreel they were blocked by Rob Schneider (@RobScneider).
Frank, can we start a small collection of being blocked by bigots? I’ll contribute mine. Someday this will be an even more treasured memory similar to what you’ve shared for a likewise reason.
This could easily be a scene right out of Brazil (1985).
Peter Dinklage is a lion tamer promoted to trapeze artist for his skill & bravery. Looking down at the little people from his position in the big top he fires & replaces the tamers with stuffed animals. His acclaim & bank account grow. “Downsizing”. Gal Gadot is an emotionally stunted ringmaster.
If what I went through helps in any way then I am happy to share. I have years of experience going down this road. I know this is a joke-writing account, but I genuinely care.
…itchy skin, weight-loss (obv), sensitivity to lights and sounds. Testing was through two clinics in Colorado Springs (Clifford & Biocomp). Neuro-Cutaneous Syndrome (NCS)/Morgellons disease helped lead in my studies on this. I didn’t take any supplements to recover, but that’s not here nor there.
I took pictures of specific spots like that in my mouth and tongue that reddened infrequently. The allergy (for me) was the bonding materials cured with light. Symptoms included: spots on stomach, rosacea on nose & face, brain fog, skin crawling, fight-or-flight, cysts, parasthesia, swelling…
6+ years of my own work & a lot of $ even with insurance & I started getting better (replaced fillings 3x + so many tests out-of-network). The burrito place closed a few years after I got better; I thought of darker options before. I read your stories & continue to have hope for you. I’m sorry.
Pulling back the curtain a bit: 10+ years ago I had Lyme or dental allergies (more likely). I could only eat burritos from one restaurant without any reaction. Raw garlic was ok too. WBC and eosinophils high; doctors: “wow, that’s weird.” That’s it. If it’s not obvious they hate the hard work.
The juxtaposition of a facade of Victorian era London filled with beggars shoulder-to-shoulder with rich cosmopolitans and a powerless modern era San Francisco where the homeless wandered the streets with tech bros is something I’m still processing.
I drove through this mess coming home from the Dicken’s Fair. Waymos littered the streets like tombstones; silent obituaries for powerless tech. These obelisks stacked up sometimes three to an intersection. They obscured pedestrians and blocked light from cars making the drive perilous and feral.
Nailed it. Trump is The Beast and Newsom is The Smiler.
2026 mood
The trailer for Animal Farm nearly broke me. It’s like one of my pitches was actually turned into a movie. I almost quit out of despair.
