I really needed to hear this week. My day job takes so much out of me physically and emotionally that it's hard to make room for art because the goal isn't necessarily in sight, but this is it.

I have to keep onward and we all must keep onward and pour our hearts out and do our good work so someday there is an end to this where all the wronged peoples of the world are victorious and relieved and the next generation is rejoicing and all the tyrants are ashes they dance in.
Sat down to work on my WIP's outline and to try out a scene idea. Ended up with 700 new words. The WIP is at 3000 now.

Rhambutan. There was a whole ass fantasy author fandom that pumped me up on these things back in the late 00s (IYKYK) and when I finally tried one, I was mad. They taste like if boredom had morning breath.

February has been such a busy month. Trying to carve out time to outline and write has been a mess. WIP is at 2000 words. Outline got filled in more, though.

As I've noted before (but is worth noting again!), I have it as a contract point that cover art has to be done by humans. One, because it solves many issues involving copyright and licensing and assures a unique cover. Two, PAY ACTUAL HUMANS FOR ACTUAL HUMAN ART, it's really just that simple.
