it was just wild, the og girls got a video of the og boys getting intimate with new casa amor girls, and it was like 2 guys who had been in solid couples, so at the recoupling, all the girls collectively tore the men to shreds for being disrespectful. it was fantastic and i wholly recommend!!!!
the casa amor recoupling tonight in love island usa was peak reality tv. and I watch a LOT of reality tv. that was so completely bananas I am invigorated and inspired??
Writing with the expectations and pressures of publishing is hard but what if you're a freak who ALSO applies expectations and pressures to "fun" writing like fanfiction, then what am I supposed to do????
Yes exactly!!! It's definitely not perfect but even when it's flawed it's addictive, and that's enough to carry you through!
Okay there were a lot of problems with Fourth Wing but I regret to admit that I did actually enjoy it or at least have fun with it. Dragon shenanigans can overcome the brutal info dumping, at least if you make it past the first 150 pages of military school nonsense.
A pie chart labeled "the ideal story" with "angst and pining" taking up half the chart, and "character development", "world building", "quiet moments", and "plot" following and taking up progressively smaller sections of the chart with "plot" making being a very thin line.

2023 has been great for my reading!!! I thought I was being super bold by aiming to read 30 books this year (compared to my usual 20-25) but we're almost there at only halfway through the year!
My favorite read of 2023 so far has been Spell Bound by FT Lukens. Any 2023 must reads y'all recommend??
