Clear and obvious, that’s we’re told, now corners next season
Clear and obvious, that’s we’re told, now corners next season
The best
It does seem others or another has dropped in at the 11th hour, let’s see and if true I’d say next week now
I’d be surprised if someone came in at the last minute now, but you never know
Well if one drops through my door, at least I don’t have to worry about cat litter tray liners
Yep, will be interesting how much Ashley or Storch will offer
Sounds like a meeting that could be an email, let’s spend money on a pointless event talk about something to which none of really have the knowledge of or scope to enact anything, because our mate isn’t happy
I think the focus on getting the best deal for the creditors is always going to supersede the “best deal” for the future of the club, that’s why the Bord deal won out first, I understand they were convinced by them, but they must now pick who can get this over line and not just the largest offer
I will watch it later, but I’ve heard others have criticised the administrators
So by the end of Friday we should have a new preferred bidder, but will any of them have answer from the EFL about the 15 point deduction, or will the accept it? Will the bid be withdrawn if the don’t get them abolished, as per normal this won’t be straightforward #wawaw (I think it will be Ashley)
A thought, Bazza left because because the Bord consortium couldn’t or wouldn’t guarantee him a contract come the end of the season and I am sure the Millwall offer was lucrative, but I wonder how he feels about all this
Storch is another unknown quantity, seems to saying the right things, and I believe has been in contact with fan groups through representatives about the club, which is all good, but Ashley would pass the tests and quickly, reports of him willing to invest (take with a pinch) it’s all frustrating
So now the media is throwing out more names “interested” in purchasing Wednesday, questions have raised about the administration’s with regards the Bord bid, rightly so. The situation is now time, and tbf Ashley’s bid seems the most logical at this stage, what a time to be a fan #wawaw
You’re playing us last match of the season 😬
Decent manager good guy, his football style is let’s say functional, will get the defensive side improved, probably will keep you up, but I’d say his level at best is L2, L1
So Trumps actions are wrong, Iran was a minor problem that could of been dealt with much easier, now we’ll see oil prices rise, this will help Russia because of supply disruption, and politically strengthen China, his lack of understanding geo politics is incredible, piss up & brewery anyone
Who’d have thought get involved in the Middle East would prove so divisive, it’s like nobody’s ever read a book about the last 1000 years, 🤔
Superb interview
The rest of us live like animals, that’s not even a first world problem, 😂
I see Big Dave is favourite for the WBA job @halfordslane79.bsky.social
One thing I will say Ashley will have some top legal experts that would slap EFL around
Know one knows, we don’t even know if Ashley will be the preferred buyer yet, another week before anything happens and I would genuinely believe at this stage, unless the EFL abolishes the 15 points deduction, I am not convinced either will go ahead with a bid, this could still get worse now
If both potential bidders go to the EFL & say, remove the 15 point deduction for next season, will the EFL listen? I doubt it unfortunately #wawaw
Look Ashley’s a pragmatist, but I would say his plan would be to get the club to the premier league and improve the facilities because that’s where the money to maximise his branding Sports Direct, Fraser group etc. is, right now better the devil you know
If it turns out to be Mike Ashley, as I kinda suspect it will be, with his Newcastle ownership experience, he’d probably hire a CEO to run the club and stay in the background #wawaw
Yep then reality comes, stadium upgrades £50 million + training ground upgrades £20 million + investment into the squad always on going, when do you get to the premier league unknown, with £5 million + losses per season at best, running a football club is expensive
£47 million 😳 we’re never worth that much, #wawaw
Two other bidders put low value on the club because they didn’t believe the asking price was worth it, and yet after 2 months of “looking” at the books, you now only discover after few million pounds, it’s not worth it seems like poor judgement straight off.
