Never have I so enjoyed a game i am so shit at.
Between the UI/UX being overwhelming and complex and the general lethality of the gameplay (everything and everyone on this planet wants you DEAD) the entire game seems like it was made to filter out the non sickos on every single level.

It's definitely gonna get an audience, but I see a lot of refunds and a lot of disappointment. The UI/UX seem purposely designed to overwhelm and test your patience and comprehension. Meanwhile, the AI will hunt you down and punch your teeth down your throat if they so much as hear you sneeze. While other players will attempt to murder you on sight. The whole thing seems designed to filter out the non-sickos. And I love it. And I can't wait for the full release. Room for improvement: Icons for the same items with slightly better/worse stats need better readability. Sponsored kits need to be a little stronger. It shouldn't be this hard to recover from losses. TTK is a smidgeon too quick. Duos queue please

For my non brit friends: There is a beef extract called Marmite. The marketing for it is solely based on that there is not middle ground for opinion on it. You either love it or hate it.
I hate Marmite. But I am loving Marathon.
Played a few hours of Marathon.
Very fun, but overwhelming.
Cutthroat as hell, too. If a robot isn't sprinting towards you to beat you to death with their robot mates, other players are gonna shoot you on sight for all your stuff.
Never played Tarkov or Arc, but this, THIS is my jam.

Whisper the Wolf not being voiced in Crossworlds makes perfect sense and is completely in character. She would not be able to be heard over the other racers and the loud music.
Tangle is also being quiet so her girlfriend doesn't feel self-conscious. Because she is a nice person.
