I didn’t become “a gamer” until I was an adult but there were still a few things I played as a kid (Mostly Neopets and Pokémon). One thing about me is I love a creature. I love a critter. A game should have more animals than humans and you shouldn’t have to jump up on anything.

Yeah apparently neurotypical people prefer to start from hardest/most urgent and work to easiest? Lmao I could never, it makes so much sense to me to start with easy stuff and work up to hard, or just start with the easy parts of the hard task

I don’t know if this is actually answering the question but I always keep a handful of easy tasks undone so that when I need to jump back in I can snowball into it. I honestly never knew that was a “special method” because it came naturally but lately I’ve been seeing it reco’d as an ADHD tip

So I'm a little bit forgiving of people saying "this is bullshit" if someone comes in with "this cured me!" And it solves a symptom that's never bothered them and if they follow it it does nothing. It does get frustrating to try many things in a row to little effect.

Cures that people say work wonders but when you dive into their LC stories they've been dealing with crippling diarrhea daily for months on end as one of their main symptoms, a thing that never happened to me once. 🤷‍♀️

My take is that it's so individualized though (and is probably like 3-10 related but different conditions) that no one therapy works on everyone and some of the "guaranteed results!" Treatments I've seen deal with symptoms I personally never even had issues with, like I've seen multiple digestive
