I agree it’s a pen and I’m an Arsenal fan. It clearly shows the refs not prepared to challenge each other when Gallagher says it wouldn’t be overturned if given yet maintains it’s not a foul. Refereeing won’t get better with that culture.

Bodies wise, the Arsenal squad: Back: Neto, Tomi, Tierney out, Kepa + Mosquera in = -1. Mid: 2 in and 2 out. Upfront: Sterling out Gyok in. So I expect another defender (?) and attacker (Eze) with room for a Loan. Also Zinny likely to go as are all returning loanees. Berta good work not done yet!
I don’t love it but it could be one that really works. To be fair to Arteta the deals that haven’t worked have tended to be punts on younger players.

If the club had moral courage they could have dropped him. It would then have been up to him to publicly complain/sue. Guilty or innocent he was bringing the club disrepute. I’ve backed Arteta in pretty much every decision but not this one. His desire to extend makes a mockery of non negotiables.
