In this sociopolitical moment, with these sociotechnical concerns, Kennesaw State— the university where I'd taught the longest thus far— is getting rid of their degrees in philosophy, Black studies, & technical communication, & it's hard to not also feel this assemblage of facts as a personal attack
You cannot determine toxicity from looking at a sequence of characters, because context matters more than the characters themselves.
And the context of marginalized groups is not included in training and labeling data (training time), and not provided when coming up with a score (inference time).
Keep fighting against these people, because they can be beaten.
