Kristi Noem has done a stunning amount of damage and it’s good she’s gone.
But this doesn’t change the fact that we need a complete overhaul of DHS, impartial investigations into the killings of two American citizens, and information on children that were taken from Minnesota.

If it’s true that the United States bombed an elementary school and killed scores of children it is an unfathomable crime. I have never been more disgusted to be an American.

Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of our democracy. But right now, they’re under attack.
Several Republican-controlled states have redrawn their congressional maps to give themselves an unfair advantage in the midterm elections.

RFK Jr. wants Dunkin’ to prove drinking its iced coffee is safe - The Boston Globe
The warning comes as Kennedy is leaning heavily into his agenda to improve American diets.
This moron has no idea how much of a third rail this is. If he goes through with a public fight with Dunkin he will never live this down. In the words of my people "fuck ya motha."

Our nation is again at war, not because we had to but because the president recklessly chose to.
Now we must recognize who pays the price: not the president and his wealthy allies, but service members and ordinary Americans.

For years on my old blog I published the names of servicemembers who died in Iraq & Afghanistan. No other outlets were.
These are the first 4 Americans to die in the Iran War.

I am closely monitoring the ongoing military operations in Iran. International military actions have a direct and profound impact on Maryland’s families and communities.
I served in Afghanistan and I’ve seen who pays the price when Washington rushes into conflict.

I asked Oldest, Gen Z, if he knew who Bill Clinton’s VP was.
He did not.
He DID know who Al Gore was. The guy who had the election stolen by the Supreme Court. Also the climate change guy.
I found that interesting.

It’s the epistemic double bind of rape trauma: the rape victim who appears to suffer is unreliable, crazy, untrustworthy either to relay the facts of her rape or to judge its gravity and consequence. The rape victim who does not appear to suffer, by contrast, was not really hurt.
