It's silly that anyone would think an expensive gaming console will drive anyone to an easily twice as expensive alternative.

I didn't tell them how scared I would have been to tell my parents. How I would have been punished even for an accident. How that punishment would have probably included a spanking even at 11. I worry about becoming my parents. Breaking the cycle isn't easy. I'm proud of me for being safe to tell.

#parenting win? Kiddo broke the screen on their Chromebook and came to me in tears. We had a snuggle and I let them know crying because they're sad is fine but they're not in trouble. I said I'm proud of them for letting me know. They said "what else would I do?"

Totally blew my #hobbystreak yesterday. Kiddo wasn't feeling well and I didn't get my late night hobby time. Took it as a sign to spend a day or two resetting my space as it was a mess. #hobbystreak day 44. The holidays are cutting into my hobby time but I did do a little painting. Got the hair squig painted up and did a final highlight on the grey. I really enjoy the simplicity of the sculpt. It leaves more room for adding texture and depth with paint. #40k #orks #minipainting

This is so important. I'm a fan of survival crafting games and have to be aware that when they become a chore that it's time to pivot to something else. As someone with ADHD it's also just a solid general rule for hobbies.

I recently got several minis from this game. I was mid to late teens when it dropped and I was really disappointed it wasn't around very long. The only one I got back then was Eisenhorn. I can't wait to get paint on the rest of them.

Yeah, it's a tough one. I can only speak to PSN but the "free" monthly games tend to be pretty good and sometimes are fairly new. I've gotten quite a few over the years that I've played a lot and wouldn't have spent money on them just on sight. I don't buy tons of games so it's not a bad deal for me

It's a great mini. I'll always prefer the metal hand sculpted minis to anything modeled on a computer. There's just so much more character. The new stuff can be way more detailed and new plastic is awesome, but the old stuff has real personality.

Totally fair. I just desperately want an alternative to the cyber truck hellscape for the folks wanting an EV truck. The Rivian headlights are so ugly it makes me hate the entire truck for it. The dudebros driving EV trucks to their office jobs need options.

I hate to ganging up on someone who already has so little joy in their life, but seriously? This is as far from tryhard as you can get. I hope they actually try mini painting because it's super easy to get praise and engagement on social media regardless of skill level

I don't think so. It's one of the most understated EVs. It's mostly badging that makes it different from a standard f-150. Most trucks aren't for people who need trucks. Making it an EV means at least the truck tax is paid by the user in upfront cost and not society in unnecessary fuel consumption
