If you're looking for it, there's another way to get a 1080p version. I mean, if one were to look for a moment - it's a great movie but it *has* gone down the memory hole.
Great Stewart Copeland score, too.
I'll never forget Adric's final line: "It's all gone Pete Tong, Doctor! I'm sure it'll be fine know wait argh everything's exploding this sucks Docto--"
They don't write 'em like that anymore.
Just worked out I can translate the Voynich Manuscript. You do is shift every letter along & loop back PLUS drink one (1) jug of methylated spirts.
It's a tale of a fateful trip that started from this tropic port aboard a tiny ship. If not the courage of the fearless crew, the ship would be lost.
Is this from the filmclip to Frankie's Two Tribes?
Zero Wing.
Main screen turn on.
We get signal!
It's fabulous!
That is so weird. I was listening to the original about 2 hours ago on a walk. Very odd indeed.
We all loved them back in the day. The browser was terrible for the Internet on the one I had (I think it was the Bold model).
Was a while ago. Pre-plague by a fair while.
I've still got my old Blackberry sitting in a drawer somewhere. Used to like it a bit, except my fingers were a tad big for the keypad. Still, once you got used to it, it was so fast and so good for work corro emails.
It is. Which is really annoying. Sometimes almost line for line.
I was all-in until I saw Megadeth supporting
PRO TIP: you can save time by playing all the extended cuts at the same time if you have a computer which allows multiple video files to play at the same time.
I still can't believe Soul Man was an actual movie made and released into theatres.
[laughs in Seth Putnam]
They've increased the chocolate ration from 200 grams to 100 grams!
Carpe calciamentum!
You're probably typing it wrong. Also, it's a .org.edu.ru.ch.spm and is hosted in Antarctica on a sever made of penguin meat.
I gave $100K to the Society For The Conversion Of Lead Into Gold By Way Of Alchemy And Also Leech Virus Cures Positivity (TCOLIGBWOAAALVCP) and I'll tell you, I get *NO* thanks from anyone except the people who sell lead and leeches to loonies.
Bring back acid rain - those were the days!
My argument has always been, right, now how many of these films do people watch on the regular, let alone own on disc?
Yes, some are amazing, but there's some stuff there which came and went faster than eight ball amongst eight tech bros on a Friday night.
You *could* argue that The Hateful Eight is an extremely dark farce.
I don't believe that at least 40% of the list of movies here are real.
I am Jack's complete lack of surprise.
Every one of my best songs came quickly and just didn't have those horror roadblocks, with only one or two exceptions. Those are the ones you wait for, and when you have that connection to where it all comes from, it just *works*. Makes the struggle with other songs more obvious, I feel...
Speaking as someone with a near-photographic memory for songs (well, 'audiographic', I guess), I don't recognise this melody from anything at all.
And lovely it is, too.
Sometimes an easy write just means one got that music from beyond moment (so I believe) and it's just really special. Savour it!
This post resembles me a little too much.
Although replace "sad" with "a total lack of acceptance or understanding of the world and its insanity, resulting in feeling a kind of mix of sad, hatred, and borderline madness".
YMMV
Wonderful film. This and Explorers (4K on this when?) remain two of my fav films of the 80s (or ever) which I saw in the cinema as a young-un.
Classic Jerry Goldsmith scores, too.
I was mainly responding to this bit "...people who pretend like they played those old games..."
I think they sort of captured the vibe but not really? More playing is needed. Sorry about my reading comprehension :-)
