- I spent too much time & emotion trying to fit in with people that have no interest in me. I chased after the wrong people instead of finding those that that actually wanted to spend time with me and be part of my life.
So 2026 I'm focusing on those that actually want to spend time with me.
- I dislike conflict and like to be helpful, so I generally stay quiet when people take the piss & don't appreciate my favour or my time. But, if I don't respect my time and myself, certainly nobody else will. I won't be going out of my way for people that take the piss anymore.
After an incredibly shit year, very glad 2025 is coming to an end. Not doing resolutions, but there have certainly been some lessons I've learned:
- I believe people far too much when they tell me things as I take them at face value, when really most people don't actually mean what they say.
