It's like when tech billionaires invoke sci-fi stories, and people say, "he doesn't even understand that story's dystopian," but yes, they do get that! They simply embrace the dystopia, market it as inevitable, and want you to understand yourself as a winner or loser in that context—on their terms.
The people reacting with "they don't understand Walter White was the bad guy" are missing a lot. To their target audience, Skyler was the bad guy. It's about power and violence, and whiny women who don't want power exercised for the sake of personal gain and ego are among their villains.

People will yell at you because they want to. I have been blocking people for years for yelling at me over things I never said or did. People have unlimited strangers on here to treat as proxies for everything that's wounded them. You don't have to engage with that.
People in Trump's orbit were fed up with her power plays, her grandstanding, and her sloppiness (not with her campaigns of violence—those were the thought work of Stephen Miller anyway). Trump also got angry that she told Congress he OK'd her ad campaign, and her haters in the WH zeroed in on that.
I see the made-up job Trump says he's giving Noem as being on par with his claim that "Elon's not going anywhere" during Musk's farewell presser at the WH. Trump doesn't want parallels drawn to his frequent firings of underlings during his first administration, so he acts like everything's chill.
This is not a promotion. She's not being fired because Trump disapproved of the violence she oversaw, of course. She's being fired because she's a sloppy grandstander who annoyed the wrong people and bc Trump didn't like her telling Congress he OK'd her ad campaign, even tho it seems he likely did.
