The rhythm of the rain helped soothe me. I weeped at my altars.
I played music with lots of instruments and soulful singers. I danced and caught up on my favorite shows.
Last night I stayed awake past 4:30am.
After catching up on news and media plus dealing with a heavy day of my own … I felt collective grief, worry, and fear on my shoulders.
I knew I couldn’t carry that with me to sleep.
Sad to report that the peak of the Geminids meteor shower coincides with the full moon next week…
Meaning that brightness of the moon will make it difficult to see the meteors. 🙁
Going to the liquor store as a spiritualist is so funny bc everyone’s looking at you like you’re about to have a big party, meanwhile your ancestors & them just have very specific tastes lol
