This Infocom game gets its own post. I was 11 when this came out, and I ate it up. I played it over & over again. I have a copy (all 134k of it) on my computer now. This game helped shape my sense of humor, my writing style, and my love and appreciation for just how bonkers the English language is.

Power is back on thanks to a couple of generous folks (ily ty 💕) but I am not out of the woods. The reconnect fee is waived until the 9th, which is also when the new bill is due. I get OT Saturday & hopefully today & tomorrow but anything helps. There's an automated payment system on the phone #

I'm at 68% battery on my phone.
I'm just looking to try to get the power back on before the food in my fridge needs to be thrown out.
