I'm actually incapable of shutting the fuck up, so heavy handed vent art. (Do poses count as art? I'm never sure. If not, heavy handed vent pose I guess?)

and for those not in the know— there’s a reason why WoW healers are teased on ffxiv as being chronic over healers. it’s because you get that much abuse while playing them on WoW.

i’ve been very much of the mind that i don’t like contributing to dynamis’ long queue times, so i queue for most of my stuff on dynamis but lemme tell y’all

leveling a tank on dynamis right now is about as frustrating as leveling a healer on WoW.

i like to think the way estinien acts in the second half of heavensward, the way he lashes out at y'shtola, is because it was disappointing. niddhog's death. how could it not be? it didn't bring back his family--not like he'd ever think it would--it didn't make the gnawing hole in his heart...

ordered some food as a treat after a long 2 weeks. partners food was 100/10. mine was disappointing at best.

Most normal folks won’t be able to tell, but Sumire DOES have an overwhelming aether— she can’t help it! She has Ardbert’s soul fused onto hers, Midgardsormr still attached to her soul, and Estinien/Nidhogg’s aether flowing throughout.

The way she walks! Sumire has a very light & airy way of walking, it’s very bouncy and you can tell she is a natural dancer just from how she moves— like her body is swaying to a rhythm only she can hear.

For a few of them though, like Y’shtola, Krile & Estinien it’s her aether.

Battle couple all the way. By Dawntrail they’re the type to make quick quips & tease one another in the midst of battle. Some of their themes involve ideas around fate & choice (specifically each choosing the other as their fate) and bonds which transcend words & physical meaning. #Sumistinien

Garlemald. She refuses to return there unless forced to. She’s killed dozens— if not hundreds— of Garlean soldiers and no matter how hard she tries she knows she will never be forgiven (nor should she) and she will always be scorned.

Estinien doesn’t like that Sumire is unwilling to fully let go of being the Warrior of Light and is willing to sacrifice herself to keep everyone in her life safe.

Also. She makes his arms fall asleep when they’re cuddling and refuses to move so he wakes up to tingly/numb arms.

sometimes when i’m reading dialogue for quests that are not particularly interesting to me and im struggling to keep up (aka: AST quests) i just kinda tell myself im roleplaying as sumire because she too would disassociate halfway through some of these convos
