…after just two episodes?!?! Fucking hell. Look back at Encounter at Farpoint and The Naked Now. Both seem pretty awful today (and if you disagree you must have a nostalgia VISOR fused to your face!), but the promise of TNG was there - interesting characters, fascinating ship design. IDIC people!
I really enjoyed the first two episodes of Star Trek Starfleet Academy. The cast is excellent, the starship designs are interesting, and there are many threads I want to know more about. The title sequence isn’t great though; & the theme tune is largely forgettable. But jeez, the hate for it online…
