This has been a veeery long and bumpy road with a very happy ending. Thank you to all our collaborators and especially the first author Beatriz Parejo, who shared with me most of this journey since 2017!!!
We found that nutrient starvation and microenvironmental signals activate PPAR-δ in PDAC to support survival and metastasis by promoting metabolic plasticity and invasiveness, providing a strong rationale for developing PPAR-δ-targeted therapies for pancreatic cancer
