The mobile app was made based on the web app and the port will be much more cost and time-efficient than starting the web from scratch. All components, routing, logic, types, and UI are ready to use on the web. That's where having done a bet on a universal architecture comes back into the picture.
After your mobile app is released, there will be a time when the no-code app will become a big technical debt and also will be on a very expensive plan, and you will find yourself in need of evolving the web app into something better.
But if a project has already invested in no-code and it's working, why universal app development if we just need a native mobile app? The answer is because you will need web ported from no-code eventually. You can play smart and start the project with a universally ready architecture.
And with all of that, a lot of projects find along the way that they need a native app to complement their web offering or make the switch just because mobile should have been the main platform to aim for from the beginning.
universal react native app use case: From No-code web app to native mobile
No-code is great, but everyone who uses it knows that you can't freely express your app ideas w/ the plasticity of coding your own solution. It is great to:
✅ validate your idea
✅ get close to market fit
✅ know your users
thanks buddy
UNIVERSAL REACT APPS get to reuse all of it:
✅logic
✅styles
✅ routing
for iOS, Android and the web.
Web details:
- Run a @expo.dev for web app served as SPA or SSG
- Use Next.js adapter and get RSC or RSR.
- Be bold and use onestack.dev and get SSR
In the making! I am fighting against chatGPT unicorn level UI here. Need to get close to it. The UI had some hidden UX flows that I want to tackle else it doesn't make sense.

🌶️ take: I have proposed the @expo.dev stack w/ API routes on some projects. The main drawback is the 'well known stack' issue. People know React Native and @nextjs.org but don't know about universal apps or API routes.
