This structure really needs visiting several times during the year. Once as here naked, then as all the leaves are bursting freshly green again in summer and finally for autumn colour. This beech arbor is found at Christchurch Priory, Dorset, UK.

I sat in my garden in the sun, hurrah!, yesterday afternoon playing with camera trying to photograph the odd bird with a lens I've been certain was useless for birding. It was worth the effort, not for the birds captured but because I learned how to use the lens properly. Happy with it now 😊.

This is the Welsh Poppy, just opened with petals looking like an unmade bed. The particular relevance of this flower at this time is that it is a reminder to make time to go to see those you love or they may be stolen from you before you get round to doing so.

Slightly odd. This is a Snakes Head Fritillary flower made up of lots of tine images of a Wild Tulip flower. The background id blurred.

I went through a period of "painting" over photos using some Photoshop techniques. This was slightly different in that it was dabbed using tiny versions of a wild tulip photo. The main flower is a Fritillary.
