Christian fascists, all heretics, read meanings, their personal biases or personal opinions, into Biblical passages. This is called eisegesis, as opposed to exegesis, extraction of meaning from a Biblical text. Eisegesis enables these readers to justify any sort of anti-Christian behavior.
