Thank you for highlighting this Senator. I visited Havana for my birthday last year, and it’s just heartbreaking to see what’s going on now. Every Cuban I met was so kind and generous, and proud of their country and culture. I pray for all the friends I made over there as they don’t deserve this.

I had an actual therapist tell me that I would feel bad after my mother was gone for cutting my mother off and not speaking to her. I told her I will feel as bad as my mother feels now for making my life miserable. She did not have a response to that!

One thing that other countries get right, that the US doesn’t, is recognizing education as a product/benefit for society as a whole. That’s why countries provide free education through college. We’re so focused on segregating education and opportunities, we are missing who the actual “customer” is.
