Yeah, which is essentially what I’m saying, we need to be much better at planning to lose our best players. Brentford, Bournemouth, Brighton are probably the example in terms of buying, selling, replacing. Difference is we want to challenge the ‘big 6’, but that feels a long way off for now.

I guess that’s where we need Ross Wilson to start putting his stamp on the club. Hopefully their relationship is going to be a positive and productive one. If Wilson can recommend replacements then maybe Howe will be more receptive to change?
