Well. This is an interesting thing from a council that gave control to Reform UK just under a year ago.

It’s sort of weird with the timing because on the quick program you expect a timer to come up. But instead it decides when it’s finished based on how much liquid’s left, apparently. When 10 minutes remain the timer come on.

Plenty capacity for 4. Two of the measuring cups usually enough for us.
But have done three and it was fine. Haven’t tried brown rice yet, but basmati takes about 30 min-ish. It has an excellent keep warm function, so if you’re not done cooking just leave it.

Excellent and surely unarguable letter in @thetimes.com on the case for making student loan debt tax deductible. One only has to think about this for one minute to wonder why on earth this doesn’t happen already…

Farage hasn't been to one regeneration meeting despite plans for Β£20m cash In 2023, Clacton was named among 54 other towns to receive a vital cash boost as part of the government’s Long Term Plan

❌ Nigel Farage has missed EVERY meeting about regenerating his constituency of Clacton since becoming an MP.

But he did find time to go and perform a publicity stunt in the Indian Ocean last week...

⚠️ A warning to those in Gorton & Denton over the kind of representation Reform UK provide.

I’m not judging. 15 years with the Spectator. I’m right there with you. You can be the Brendan O’Neill of rice. Own it, man!

That’s an….exaggeration, James. But I like the idea that you’ve become a sponsored political commentator. Bloody impressive. β€œCrap rice - not so, says James, famous from the papersβ€œ

Do you like the drunk-sounding spelling? Literally the excitement the panda brings out. Seriously. Do it.

Do it! I succumbed 2 weeks ago and have had the best porridge breakfast every day. No to mention that rice-dinners ACTUALLY tasten better. It’s a useful thing. My own: Panda Mini Advanced Fuzzy Logic Ceramic Rice Cooker
