Lace in crochet. I knit Continental combination, so having the yo wide open, and the decreases leaning the right way is more fiddly in knit.
If I want to produce square inches(footage) quickly, crochet. If a want a denser smooth fabric, knit. What kind of texture I want dictates which technique.
